NO SHORT TIME RENT!
The house owns itself and is an ideal organisation. This means that all economy generated is put back into the operating of the house. We want to offer low rent, but an old house like ours need a lot of maintainance. Prices from 3100,-
In the summer June-July we rent out rooms for min 1 month, prices from kr 3500,- + deposit kr 3500,-
We have 147 units for rental, placed in three blocks. You can apply for any of these at any time in the year. At the main intake in August we give students from North of Norway first priority. In other words if you are not from North of Norway you might have to move out in July if we dont have rooms free for students from other geografic aras.
Anyone that is studying fultime at any kind of school is welcome to apply for a room. It is first and foremost a studenthome for people that come from the North of Norway. But if we have some extra capasity - we'll rent rooms to people from other places.
The house have a central location, nearby the national footballstadium Ullevål Stadioen. The closest subway station is "Berg"Line nr 3 Sognsvann, just 2 min walk from the house, with wich you can reach the city centrum in 9 minuttes. And if you take it northwards you will reach a lake and a forest with good posibilities for activities both summer and winter. Most all kinds of stores is just a couple of minutes walk away, at Ullevål stadion or Tåsen center app. 5 min walk.
The prices range between kr 3.100,- up to kr 8.100,- a month. A deposit will have to be paid from kr 6.000,- depending on the size of your room. Moest rooms are in the lowest price range and are around 12 kvm big.
Rooms can be furnished with som old (historical) items that you can carry up/down from/to our storeroom after apointment. Matrass is no longer offerd due to hygienic reasons. Can be bought at IKEA to a cheep price or at Skum-Tex in Neuberggaten close to Majorstuen, Oslo
The toiletts and showers are in the korridor and you will have to share the big kitchen with up to 60 users. In other words our place is a social and dynamic enterprice trusting the human factor as a resource no mater where your from.
